## free trial

your first pro subscription starts with a **free trial** (usually 7 days).
you add a card, but you're not charged until it ends. folk texts you a
reminder the day before.

## manage your plan

everything is in **dashboard → menu → plan & billing**:

- **upgrade** or switch between monthly and yearly
- **pause** for 30 days. it restarts on its own.
- **cancel** any time. you keep pro until the end of what you paid for.
- **pay as you go**: on pro, turn this on if you want to keep going after your
  included usage runs out. set a budget and folk warns you before you hit it.

  ask folk "what plan am i on?" or "how much have i used?" and it tells you.
