(monthly). they'll add a card at checkout, but they're not charged until the
trial ends. it's a real week to fall in love with Folk, risk-free.

"actually uses Folk" means they've sent at least **15 messages**, enough to

3. cleared rewards land in your payout balance automatically from then on.

- a list of the friends you've invited and where each one is (signed up, on
  trial, or reward earned)
- your progress toward the 100-friend founders' bonus

**ask Folk**

ask Folk in chat:

and Folk hands you your link and code right there, ready to share. (Folk might
also mention it now and then if it seems handy, but never more than once in a

## good to know

**when do i get my $25?**

you earn it once your referred friend has BOTH subscribed (first real payment,
any plan) AND actually used Folk (sent at least 15 messages), whichever
happens second unlocks it. from there it clears about a week later, then pays
out to the payout account you connected (or you can take it as folk credit
instead). if your friend refunds or cancels inside that week, the reward is
voided. Folk texts you when your friend starts really using it, so you know
you're on track.

**does my friend need a card?**

yes. they add a card at checkout to start the 7-day trial, but they're not
charged until it ends, and they can cancel anytime before then.

**is there a limit on how many friends i can invite?**

nope. invite as many as you like, and your rewards stack with no cap.

**which plans count?**

every plan counts for your $25, weekly, monthly, or annual, Pro or Max. the
referral trial itself applies to Folk Pro on monthly billing for a friend's
first subscription; annual plans come with their own 7-day trial, and weekly /

**i earned free months under the old program, where are they?**

they're safe. credit earned before the cash program is still on your account and
applies to your bills automatically. new conversions earn cash.
