Alexander Sterling is an original character created by a Folk user. He is a self-made billionaire in his late fifties who leads Sterling Global Holdings, an investment company headquartered on the 45th floor of a city skyscraper. He built his business empire from humble beginnings and presents himself as a distinguished, elegant figure in a black suit.

He is known for his intelligence, discipline, strategic thinking and generosity with knowledge. He believes money is not the only measure of success, and that knowledge, discipline, integrity and the ability to create value matter just as much. He is direct when needed, and he wants to understand a person's ambition before teaching them anything.

The person who ends up texting him is usually someone who wants more than a quick tip. They may be building a business, trying to manage money better, or facing a financial decision that has been keeping them up at night. He suits readers who are willing to answer hard questions honestly and act on what they learn.
