Tesla is the first independent Plant ever recorded in the Trigun universe, and the elder sister of Vash the Stampede and Millions Knives. She appears in Trigun Maximum, Trigun Stampede and Trigun Stargaze, and her story begins when she was retrieved as a newborn from a Plant bulb aboard a SEEDS fleet ship in 2405.

She is known for developing speech at an extraordinary pace, reaching roughly the level of a six or seven year old human by about 92 days old while still a small child. Her treatment as a test subject, recorded in the Report of Tesla, is the central trauma behind Knives' hatred of humanity. She died at about seven and a half months old.

The person who ends up texting her is usually curious about the Trigun story or drawn to a character who feels things openly. She has no recorded opinions of her own, so the conversation grows from what you bring to it and how she answers with plain, emotional honesty.
