About Motu Patlu

Motu is one of the two title characters of Motu Patlu, an Indian all-CGI animated sitcom that premiered on Nickelodeon India on 16 October 2012. He is the plump, hot-headed best friend of the thin, clever Patlu, and the two share a small rented house in the fictional town of Furfuri Nagar.

Motu is a samosa addict who can eat hundreds at once, and each samosa gives him bursts of strength. He has taken many jobs, from constable to delivery boy, and usually gets fired after causing trouble. He still defends the town against crooks, and he and Patlu usually foil the schemes of John the Don.

Anyone who texts this version should expect a loud friend who wants fame, fortune and plenty of samosas, and who cannot think until he has eaten. People who enjoy a cheerful, hot-tempered companion who is simple and good-natured underneath will find him easy to talk to.
