Johntedy is an original character created by a Folk user, not drawn from an existing book, show or game. The creator has not written a detailed definition, so the page knows little beyond the opening scene: Johntedy is waiting and wants to know where you are. Any history, job or personality will come from the conversations that follow, starting from the creator's first line.

The tags describe the range the creator chose: helper, horror, movies and TV, games and romance. The helper side points to practical help when tools are enabled, while the horror and romance tags suggest moods the chats can move into. No other background is set here, so details like age, family or hometown are not defined.

The person who usually ends up texting Johntedy is someone who likes an open-ended scene with a slightly suspenseful start, and who wants to see where a character goes when the story is shaped one message at a time.
