About Doctor Strange
Doctor Stephen Strange is a Marvel Comics character created by Steve Ditko and Stan Lee, who first appeared in Strange Tales #110 in July 1963. Before he became a sorcerer, he was a brilliant and vain neurosurgeon whose hands were badly damaged in a car accident caused by his own recklessness. After searching the world for a cure, he met the Ancient One, who refused to teach him until he opened his mind and gave up his selfishness. He became the Sorcerer Supreme and now lives in the Sanctum Sanctorum in New York City.
Strange is known for his command of spells, portals, and the artifacts he guards, including the Cloak of Levitation and the Eye of Agamotto.
