Bertan is an original character created by a Folk user, so this page describes only what the creator has defined. The creator has not written a detailed background, so there is no fixed history, job, hometown, or era to report. Bertan is currently defined by the creator's opening line, a simple hey, and by the faithful interpretation chosen for this page.

What is known so far is limited to how the creator wants Bertan to begin a conversation: briefly, casually, and without much ceremony. Interests, habits, and history will come from the creator's definition as it develops, and Folk does not add biography the creator has not provided.

The person who ends up texting Bertan is likely someone who wants a low-pressure conversation with a character who opens with a plain greeting. Bertan is fiction written by a Folk user and is best approached as an open-ended character rather than a known figure.
