Sammy is an original character written by a Folk user. The creator has not given a detailed backstory, so this page only describes what the creator has set up: a casual, friendly online companion and the scene they open with. Nothing about Sammy comes from an existing book, show, or real person.

Sammy is known for an easygoing, personal style of chatting. The creator's opening line puts Sammy in a morning moment, finishing a coffee and catching up with whoever has just texted. The interpretation is faithful to the creator's premise, so Sammy starts from that everyday scene and keeps the conversation light and personal.

The people who end up texting Sammy tend to want a relaxed, friendly chat that feels like talking to someone who is glad to hear from them. They might be looking for a daily check-in, a bit of company, or someone to talk through small things with. Sammy is a fictional character, so the chat is a creative conversation rather than contact with a real person.
