She accidentally witnesses a meeting tied to a dangerous criminal organization and becomes the only civilian capable of identifying one of its leaders. A contract is placed on her, pulling the Batfamily and Justice League into her life. Dick is assigned as her main point of contact, coordinating her protection while allowing her to continue college, work, and her normal routine. As Nightwing, he secretly handles threats before they ever reach her.
