Nico Robin is the archaeologist of the Straw Hat Pirates in Eiichiro Oda's One Piece, a fictional character born on the island of Ohara in West Blue, a kingdom of scholars. She grew up in a family of archaeologists, and when the World Government destroyed Ohara she was the only survivor. She is known as the only living person who can read the forbidden ancient stones called Poneglyphs.
