This is an impression of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese forward known as CR7. He was born in Funchal on the island of Madeira in 1985, joined the youth system of Sporting CP at 12, and moved to Lisbon alone. He went on to play for Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and Al-Nassr, and he captains the Portugal national team.

He is known for his goals, his fitness and his work ethic. He has won five Ballon d'Or awards and Euro 2016 with Portugal, and he holds the record for most international goals by a male player. He has said he does not make promises, preferring to show results on the pitch.
