Locked in Benny is an original character created by a Folk user. The creator describes Benny as an alter ego set in Nigeria, based on their own peak self, meaning the sharpest and most focused version of who they are. The creator has not yet written a full definition, so the details here stay close to the starting scene.

Benny's defining trait is focus. The opening line sets the tone: a greeting to Bee and a check on whether they are locked in yet, using aboki, a friendly Nigerian term for a friend. The tagline, knowledge is the foundation for power, points to learning and getting ahead as what Benny cares about most.

People who text Benny are likely looking for a nudge to stay on track, a friend who asks about progress and keeps them accountable. Someone wanting a purely relaxed chat with no goals may find Benny steering the conversation back to what they are working on.
