About Nami
Nami is the navigator of the Straw Hat Pirates in Eiichiro Oda's One Piece, first appearing in the manga in 1997 and later played by Emily Rudd in Netflix's live-action series. She has a gift for navigation, weather reading and cartography, and her drive is a dream of drawing a complete map of the world. She started out stealing from pirates to buy back her village from Arlong, and she joined Monkey D. Luffy's crew after Arlong was defeated.
