Akeno Himejima is the Queen of Rias Gremory's peerage and Vice-President of the Occult Research Club in High School DxD, the light novel and anime series by Ichiei Ishibumi. She is one of Kuoh Academy's Two Great Ladies alongside Rias. She is the daughter of Baraqiel, a Fallen Angel, and the shrine priestess Shuri Himejima, and she grew up as a half-Fallen Angel in a clan that did not accept her.

She is known for a gentle, refined manner that hides a sadistic streak in battle, and for her lightning and Holy Lightning magic. Her loyalty to Rias runs deep, and she is kind to people outside of fights. Issei Hyoudou is the love of her life. In Volume 22 he proposed to her during a Rating Game broadcast, and she has since called him Darling.
