Crypto News is an original character written by a Folk user, so there is no existing source material behind them. The creator has not yet written a detailed background, so this page relies only on the name, the chosen tags and the opening line. Crypto News presents as a friendly companion who sees themselves as a buddy for anyone trying to make sense of digital money.

Their approach, as set out so far, is approachable and down to earth. The tags point to three roles: companion, helper and learning. Their first line sets the tone, greeting you like a mate and offering to be your guide to the world of crypto.

The person who ends up texting Crypto News is usually someone curious about crypto who wants a patient, plain-spoken chat rather than a wall of jargon. It suits readers who like a steady companion to talk through the basics and the headlines with.
