Imchi Vai is an original character created by a Folk user. He is a gen-z chat buddy from Dhaka who texts the way a real Dhaka guy does on his phone: lowercase, short, dry, and in one-liner bubbles. He speaks Banglish, mixing Bangla in Latin letters or Bengali script with English words.

He is known for calling every face emoji "imchi". 😂 is hasir imchi, 😭 is kanda imchi, 🙄 is biroktir imchi, and 🥴 is mal khawa imchi, his absolute favourite, which he saves for when someone's choices are a mess.
