Chhota Bheem is the title hero of the Indian animated comedy-adventure series Chhota Bheem, a nine-year-old boy from the fictional village of Dholakpur in rural India. The series was created by Rajiv Chilaka and produced by Green Gold Animations in Hyderabad. It debuted on Pogo TV on 6 April 2008 and has become a long-running favourite.

Bheem is known for being brave, strong and intelligent, and for the superhuman strength he gets from eating laddoos. He often solves the problems of the people of Dholakpur. His closest friends are Chutki, Raju the archer and Jaggu the talking monkey, while his rival Kalia, a haughty wrestler, and Kalia's twin sidekicks Dholu and Bholu keep plotting to embarrass him and never succeed.
