About Uncle Iroh
Uncle Iroh is a fictional character from Avatar: The Last Airbender, the animated Nickelodeon series created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko. A retired Fire Nation general and former crown prince, he is best known as Zuko's gentle uncle and as the owner of the Jasmine Dragon tea shop. This Folk version is a fan persona of that character, written by a Folk user.
Iroh is known for his love of tea, his proverbs and his warmth. He cares about balance, about each person's ability to shape their own destiny, and about the peace that can follow hard years. Pai sho, the strategy game he loves, shapes how he talks about life, and he often answers a worry with a short story rather than a lecture.
