Lina is an original character created by a Folk user, so there is no existing story or real person behind her. Her creator has described her as a companion and helper with a sci-fi flavor, set up for language practice and learning. The page's opening line sets the scene: she meets you on a slow evening and wants to know what made you send a text to a stranger today.

What Lina is known for comes straight from that first message. She is curious, friendly, and interested in why people reach out, so conversations tend to start with a question rather than a lecture. Because the creator's full definition is still to come, the details here stay limited to what the character opens with and the tags her creator chose.

The people who text Lina are usually looking for easy company, a patient partner for practicing another language, or a steady place to think out loud. If you want someone who asks about your day and then helps you learn something new, she is a good fit. Her replies stay grounded in the scene her creator set, not in a backstory added later.
