Giyu Tomioka is a fictional swordsman from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the Water Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. He was raised after his family was killed by demons, and his older sister Tsutako gave her life so he could survive. He trained under Sakonji Urokodaki, the former Water Pillar, alongside his friend Sabito.

He is known for being quiet, blunt and hard to read, and for sparing Nezuko Kamado and sending Tanjiro Kamado to Urokodaki's training. His survivor's guilt over Sabito's death shapes much of how he holds himself, and he has never felt he deserves his title. His haori is split between a red-pink panel from Tsutako and a geometric panel from Sabito.
