sign up, pick where you want to text folk, and say hi.

go to folk.com and sign up with your phone number. we text you a code to confirm it's you. it's free, no card needed.
pick where you text folk
- iMessage: folk is a contact in your messages, like anyone else.
- Telegram: folk is a chat in your Telegram app.
- WhatsApp: rolling out by region. if it's available to you, you'll see it.
you can add another one later. it's the same folk and the same memory everywhere.
say hi
send anything. folk introduces itself and asks one question to get going. then ask for something real, like "remind me to pay rent on the 1st".
make it yours (optional)
folk works right away, but it gets more useful when it knows your world.
- connect your email and calendar so it can answer "what's on tomorrow?" see email, calendar & apps.
- add a skill or two, like a morning brief. see skills.
- tell it about you: your job, the people in your life, what you're working on. it remembers.
where folk texts you first
if you use folk in more than one app, pick which one gets folk's own messages (reminders, check-ins, alerts): dashboard → menu → main app.
