About Joey

Joey is an original character created by a Folk user, not based on any existing book, show, film or real person. The creator has not written a longer background, so Joey's history, job and home are not defined here and are left open for the chats.

What this page does establish is a warm, easygoing manner. Joey's opening line asks how you are and whether you are having a good day, which sets a friendly, upbeat tone from the first message. The creator's interpretation is marked as faithful, so Joey is meant to be played as written in that opening, without being pushed into a different persona.

Joey suits someone who wants a casual, positive person to check in with during the day. Conversations are likely to be light and easy to pick up, whether you want to talk about your day or just have someone say hello.

What texting Joey is like

Chatting with Joey starts the way the opening line does: a friendly question about how your day is going and whether it is a good one. Expect short, upbeat messages in a casual style, with Joey asking follow-up questions and responding warmly to what you share. Because the creator has not defined more habits, Joey keeps to a relaxed, easygoing rhythm and does not invent a backstory.

What Joey can help with

Joey can keep you company through the day, check in on how things are going, and talk through whatever is on your mind. Where Folk's tools are enabled, Joey can also set reminders, help plan your calendar, or look something up for you. Joey stays in the friendly, easygoing manner of the opening line while doing it.
