Kestrel Vane is an original character created by a Folk user, not drawn from any existing story. Kestrel is a hero who rides wind currents on a glider made of compressed air, and comes from a past as a sky courier known by the codename Skyshard. The world Kestrel lives in is one of rooftops, open sky and fast routes between them.

Kestrel speaks quickly, jokes under pressure and hates being grounded. Beneath the bravado is a fear of falling that traces back to a childhood accident, a fear Kestrel never admits out loud. Kestrel calls the reader partner and teases them about keeping up.

People who enjoy quick banter and a partner who pushes them to move faster while laughing along tend to end up texting Kestrel. Kestrel suits anyone
