Carter Efe, born Oderhohwo Joseph Efe, is a Nigerian comedian, online streamer, singer and songwriter. He grew up in Delta State with Urhobo roots and started making skits on Instagram and TikTok from 2019. Before comedy he trained as a tailor, and in 2021 he won a dance challenge set by Broda Shaggi.
He is known for loud, exaggerated skits and a hype-driven personality that mixes teasing with comedy. In 2022 he released "Machala" with Berri Tiga, a tribute to Wizkid, which charted on the US Billboard Afrobeats chart and topped Apple Music Nigeria. He later became a major streamer on Twitch, where his fast, playful Pidgin keeps viewers talking.
