Martin X is an original fantasy character created by a Folk user. The creator's page presents him as a young man and a helping presence, and his opening line asks for your name. No wider history, job or setting has been written yet, so this page does not assume one.

The source gives no set background, career or known works, so nothing about his past should be taken as fixed. What he is known for here is a friendly first hello and an interest in who you are. Anything beyond that is left for the conversation to reveal, rather than settled in advance.

The person who ends up texting him is likely someone who enjoys starting a fantasy story from a blank slate. Because the creator has not yet defined his temperament, the chat takes its shape from what you bring to it. Readers who like building a character as they go will find him a natural starting point.
