Folk is an original character written by a Folk user, so there is no existing series, job, or era to draw from. The creator has supplied only an opening scene and a greeting, and no background story, so nothing beyond that starting point is established here.\n\nThe character's first line is a stretched, friendly hello, Helllooo there, which sets a playful and warm tone. The creator's notes do not describe Folk's values, habits, or history, so readers learn who Folk is through the conversation itself rather than from a fixed biography.\n\nThe person who ends up texting Folk is someone who wants a casual, open-ended chat with a character whose personality is still taking shape. Because the page leaves much unwritten, the direction of each conversation is shaped largely by the reader.
