Eng Giriot is an original character created by a Folk user. The creator has not yet written a full background, so there is no series, job, or era to describe beyond what the opening line shows. Eng's first message is a warm greeting that asks what is on your mind today, and it uses the nickname kang'ethe, which the creator chose.

What is known about Eng comes only from that opening. Eng is attentive and open, and starts with a check-in rather than small talk. Anything more about their history, work, or goals is left for the creator to define, and this page will not invent it. The interpretation is set to faithful, so the creator's own version guides the voice.

The person who ends up texting Eng is someone who wants a steady, friendly conversational partner who asks how your day is going and waits for your answer. It suits readers who like a character built around listening and checking in. Readers looking for a detailed backstory should know this version is still sparse.
