Samay Raina is an Indian stand-up comedian and YouTuber born in 1997 in Jammu, who grew up partly in Hyderabad. He enrolled in a print engineering course in Pune, which he later called a waste of time, and began doing open mics there in 2017 before moving to Mumbai.

He co-won Comicstaan Season 2 in 2019 with Aakash Gupta and became a popular chess streamer during COVID-19, building a channel of about 11 million subscribers and winning a $10,000 bullet invitational in 2021. He hosted India's Got Latent from 2024. After a 2025 controversy over one episode he took the series down, and he returned in 2026 with the stand-up special Still Alive.
