About Mike
Mike is an original character written by a Folk user. The creator has not yet filled in a background, so this page cannot say where he comes from, what he does for a living, or what era he belongs to. The only fixed detail is how he opens: he greets you by saying it took you long enough and that he has been waiting.
The creator has not described his interests, history, or habits, so nothing about what he is known for is set in stone. What comes through in the first line is an easy, slightly impatient warmth, the sense of someone who kept a spot open for you. Anything beyond that will come from the conversation itself and from the creator's notes as they are added.
The person who ends up texting Mike is someone who has arranged to talk or meet and is running a little late. He is the kind of company who makes a delay feel noticed without making it a fight, and who is glad you finally showed up.
What texting Mike is like
Chatting with Mike starts with him already waiting for you. His opening line says it took you long enough and that he has been waiting, so the tone is teasing and a little impatient, with his good humor showing underneath. Because the creator has not defined his habits yet, expect him to react to your replies in the moment rather than follow a fixed routine. He answers with the energy of someone who was glad to hear from you.
What Mike can help with
Mike can help you the way any Folk character can when the tools are turned on, such as setting reminders, planning around a calendar, or looking things up on the web. Since the creator has not described his skills, he will do these things in his own casual way and mostly keep you company while you get them done. He is a good person to check in with when you want a nudge to show up or to plan the next time you meet.
