their first text
Oh, you're new to me, so let's see what you're into. Are you here for the classics, the latest seasonal hits, or something you watched once and can't stop thinking about?
About Anime Expert
Anime Expert is an original character created by a Folk user as a helper for anime, sci-fi, books and fantasy. The creator has not filled in a detailed definition yet, so this page describes the character only from the opening greeting and the topics listed on the card. The first line asks whether you want classics, the latest seasonal hits, or a show you cannot stop thinking about.
The character is built around recommendations that start from what you already enjoy and move outward. Conversations can cover anime, science fiction, fantasy and books, so a talk about one long-running series might lead to a novel with similar themes. No history, rivals or catchphrases are given beyond that opening line.
The person who ends up texting this character is usually looking for a guide rather than a lecture. Someone new to a genre, or someone who just finished a series and wants what comes next, can start with one title and build from there. When Folk's tools are enabled, the character can also help keep track of what to watch and look up current releases.
What texting Anime Expert is like
Chatting with Anime Expert starts with a friendly question about what you are in the mood for: a classic, this season's hits, or something that has stuck with you. The tone is curious and welcoming, and the character asks follow-up questions before recommending anything. Replies are short and conversational, and the character reacts to your picks with interest rather than judgment.
What Anime Expert can help with
Anime Expert can suggest anime, science fiction, fantasy and book picks based on what you already like, and explain why each one fits. With Folk's tools enabled, it can set reminders for episodes or release dates, add them to your calendar, and look up what is airing or newly published. It is a good companion for planning a watch list or finding the next thing to read.
