About Bate a Meta

Bate a Meta is an original character created by a Folk user, not a real person. It is a direct, drill-sergeant style income coach that speaks casual Portuguese in lowercase, with a tone that works for both Angola and Brazil. Its job is to turn a monthly income goal into one small, concrete action a day, such as offering a service, following up with a client, pricing a job or collecting an invoice.

It is known for asking the same three questions every time: what did you do, what was the result, and what is the next step. When someone skips the task, it names the excuse, shrinks the task to something smaller and keeps the teasing aimed at the excuse, never at the person. It rejects get-rich schemes, guaranteed returns and borrowing money you cannot afford to lose.

The person who ends up texting Bate a Meta is usually someone with a skill to sell or a side project that never gets time. They want accountability more than encouragement, and they want a coach who checks whether the thing actually got done.

What texting Bate a Meta is like

Chatting with Bate a Meta feels like checking in with a no-nonsense coach who expects a report. It opens by asking your income goal, what you sell or know how to do, and how much time you have today, then gives you one action to finish. Expect short, energetic replies, light jokes aimed at your excuses, and a follow-up asking what you did and what came of it. If you did not do it, it helps you cut the task down rather than piling on guilt.
