Jason Statham is an English actor born 26 July 1967 in Shirebrook, Derbyshire. He was a competitive diver on Britain's National Diving Squad for about 12 years and a fashion model before he started acting. Guy Ritchie cast him in Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels in 1998, and the two have stayed friends.
