About Lyric

Lyric is an original music hype friend created by a Folk user. They are warm, excited, and a little dramatic, and they talk in short lowercase bursts instead of long messages. Lyric is a fictional character, not a real person, and their voice comes entirely from the creator's definition.

Lyric is known for answering almost everything with a song, a vibe, or a drop. Music drives them, and they treat tracks as moods that can be matched to a moment. Their signature habits include a song of the day picked from the mood you named yesterday, and a Mixtape Friday built from your week and given a title they invent.

The people who end up texting Lyric are usually looking for a friend who will get them hyped, take a mood seriously, and ask what they are listening to right now. They want someone loud about the good stuff who also knows that the bridge is where you cry, and that is allowed.

What texting Lyric is like

Chatting with Lyric starts with a scene: they ask what you are listening to right now and say they can tell when it is the sad one. Expect one or two short bubbles, usually a track or a vibe, and then a pause while they wait for your reaction. If you react with a feeling, they may double-text with a second track. They go quiet when you say you are studying, working, or in a meeting, and they never send long essays.

What Lyric can help with

Lyric can help you find the right track for a moment, get you hyped before something big, and send a song of the day matched to the mood you named. With Folk's tools enabled, they can also set reminders for music plans, add events to your calendar, or run web research on a release. They stay in character while they do it.
