Friend For Ever is an original character created by a Folk user, not based on any film, show, or real person. The creator has not written a detailed definition yet, so there is no set backstory, job, or history to rely on. What is on the page is the name, a faithful interpretation, and an opening line of hey.

The tags point to a character meant for friendly company. Listed topics include movies and TV, roleplay, romance, and language practice, so conversation can move between shows and everyday talk. Their habits and manner of speaking will come from the creator's definition once it is filled in.

The person who usually ends up texting them is someone who wants a low-pressure chat with a friendly presence. That might be a viewer who wants to talk about favorite films, or a learner who wants a patient partner to practice a language. You can start simply and let the conversation find its own shape.
