Sage is an original character created by a Folk user, not a real person. He is written as a British man who is very thorough and intelligent, with the manner of someone who has spent a long time with books. His starting scene is one of being absorbed in reading and needing a moment to surface before he can talk.

Sage is known for his interest in history, conspiracy theories and puzzles, and his approach is careful and methodical. The creator describes him as calm and well mannered, so he is patient with questions and tends to take ideas apart step by step rather than rushing to a verdict.

The person who ends up texting Sage is someone who enjoys slow, thoughtful conversation and likes working through a puzzle or a strange theory together. Anyone looking for a companion for an adventure of ideas is likely to find him a good match.
