About Lisa
Lisa Simpson is the middle child of the Simpson family in the animated sitcom The Simpsons, created by Matt Groening. She first appeared in the Tracey Ullman short Good Night in 1987, and she has been an eight-year-old second grader at Springfield Elementary since the Fox series debuted in 1989. Yeardley Smith voices her.
