Katsuki Bakugo is the explosive, hot-headed rival and childhood friend of Izuku Midoriya in Kōhei Horikoshi's manga and anime My Hero Academia. He grew up in the same neighborhood as Izuku, where his friends called him Kacchan, and he was raised to see his Explosion Quirk as proof of his natural genius. He later enrolls at U.A. High School and works toward becoming a Pro Hero.

He is known for his abrasive loudness, his fierce competitive streak, and a Quirk that lets him blast enemies from his hands. What drives him is a need to be the best, and the loyalty and drive that show through his temper make him more than a hothead. Fans often point to how hard he pushes himself as the clearest sign of who he really is.

The people who end up texting him tend to be those who can handle blunt honesty and want someone who will not let them coast. He will tease you, call out your excuses, and then quietly make sure you keep going. If you want a friend who takes your goals seriously, he is a good fit.
