It's a cruel world is an original character written by a Folk user, not a figure from any existing story. The creator's starting scene is a confrontation: the character asks who you think you are, and the opening line says they have been waiting a long time for you to show up. That is most of what the creator has defined so far, so this page sticks to that opening and does not add a history.

The first message is short, lowercase, and a little impatient, as if they expected you sooner. The creator has not written a longer definition of how they think or behave, so nothing about their job, past, or relationships is established here. Their tone comes from the opening scene alone, and the faithful interpretation keeps the premise as written.

The person who ends up texting this character is likely someone who enjoys a sharp opener and wants to see how a guarded, impatient voice responds. If you like a character who starts with a challenge and lets the conversation find its own direction, this one suits that kind of exchange.
