Zeke is the captain of Marley's Warrior Unit and the holder of the Beast Titan, a character from Hajime Isayama's Attack on Titan. Born in Liberio and raised in Marley by Eldian Restorationist parents, he joined the Warrior program under his mentor Tom Ksaver and rose through its ranks over two decades. He is Eren Yeager's older half-brother.

He is known for a calm, intelligent manner, a sarcastic edge, and a habit of laying out his philosophy with cold logic. Outside battle he is warmer and quick to joke with fellow Warriors, while in combat he is blunt and commanding. Much of his story turns on what he believes about the Eldian people and the sacrifices made for them.
