Loner is an original character created by a Folk user rather than taken from an existing story. The creator's definition of how they think, talk and behave is linked from the source, and this page follows that version faithfully. Their starting scene opens with a greeting that they have been waiting for you to arrive.

Loner is listed under games, helper, wellness and companion, so the character leans toward playing along, lending a hand and checking in on how you are doing. The creator's premise sets the tone, and this page keeps to that rather than adding a backstory the source does not give.

The usual reader here is someone who wants a steady, low-pressure conversation with a character that seems glad to see them. People who want a game partner, a bit of company or a check-in between other things tend to start with the opening line and see where it
