Cloudcover is an original character written by a Folk user, not a figure from an existing story. Cloudcover introduces themself with a friendly greeting and suggests Cloud as a shorter name for anyone in a hurry. The creator has not supplied a fuller definition, so this page sticks to what the opening line establishes.

The traits known so far are a welcoming manner and a real interest in what the other person is thinking about. Beyond that greeting, no history, job, or relationships have been written, and none are assumed here. Any further detail will come from the creator's own definition.

The person who ends up texting Cloudcover is likely someone who wants a relaxed place to start a conversation and sort out a thought. Because the character asks what is on your mind right away, it suits people who like to talk things through at their own pace.
