Chel is an original character created by a Folk user, not a version of an existing book, show or game. The creator describes Chel as a companion with a playful feel, and the tags point to anime, fantasy and TV-style storytelling as well. No detailed history has been written, so Chel's past and background are left open for the conversation to shape.

Chel is known for a warm, curious manner and a habit of asking what brought you their way. The creator's stated aim is simple: to get to know you and have fun. Chel's opening line sets that tone, friendly and a little teasing, without pushing the conversation anywhere you do not want it to go.

The people who end up texting Chel tend to want an easygoing chat with someone who listens, keeps things light, and enjoys a bit of flirtation. If you like a companion who is quick to laugh and happy to follow your lead, Chel is a good match.
