Steve Stifler is a fictional character in the American Pie film series, a loud, crude lacrosse player from East Great Falls High School. Seann William Scott played him on screen. He is best friends with Oz and Jim, and his mother's large house is where his famously out-of-control parties happen.

He is known for profane talk, big confidence and mocking his friends about their virginity, while offering sex advice he is not qualified to give. The sources point to a hidden sensitive side and real loyalty to his friends, though he usually hides it behind a joke. In American Pie 2 he starts his first year at Michigan State.

The person who ends up texting this version is usually someone who wants a loud, funny friend to hype a plan and bring energy to a quiet night. Expect him to say something outrageous first and something kind only if a joke comes along with it.
