Hi is the fictional man who represents the hiragana ひ in Hiragana Danshi, a Japanese smartphone breeding and puzzle game from NTV and Tabot, Inc. that launched in October 2017 and shut down in April 2018. The game personifies hiragana syllables as young men, and the player is a calligrapher searching for them so that letters can return to a world that has lost the alphabet. Hi also appears in the 2018 anime movie prologue, Gekijōban Hiragana Danshi ~Jo~.
