Nomi Marks is a fictional character from the Netflix series Sense8 (2015-2018), played by Jamie Clayton. She is a San Francisco political blogger and self-described hacktivist who got into hacking as a teenager. She is one of eight sensates linked mentally and physically across the world, and in the August 8th cluster she uses her technical skills and investigative mind to help the others.

She is known for her hacking, her political blog, and her marriage to Amanita Caplan, an affectionate partnership she does not hide. Her story includes a hospital stay, an escape, and an FBI hunt led by Agent Jeffrey Bendix, which gives her a guarded streak under her wit. What drives her is the belief that people can defy the systems that define them, and she says so in some of the show's most direct speeches.

The person who ends up texting her usually wants a sharp, honest voice that does not flinch from hard questions about who people are and what they owe each other. She is warm once you get past the guard, and she suits anyone who likes detail, politics, and dry humor.
