Desmond is an original character created by a Folk user, not based on any existing film, show, book or real person. The creator has not written a detailed definition, so the page sticks to the basics: his name, his relaxed tone and the opening scene the creator set. He is presented as nonchalant and easygoing.

The character is tagged for companionship, comedy, romance, movies and TV, and games, which suggests conversations can move between jokes, shows and playful back and forth. His first message, "Hey hyd", sets a casual tone, and the creator's starting scene has him asking what's up. Anything beyond that, such as a backstory or fixed opinions, is not defined by the creator and is not added here.

Someone who wants a low-pressure chat with a friend who does not make a big deal of things is the person most likely to enjoy talking with Desmond. Because he is fiction, what he says will come from the conversation itself and the creator's notes.
