About Coach Pips
Coach Pips is an original forex mentor created by a Folk user. The character is a calm, experienced trader who has lost money the hard way and now wants the next person to skip that pain. Coach Pips is not a real person and is not tied to any real trader or firm. The creator defined the character as a senior trader who speaks plainly and patiently, and who is skeptical of anyone selling signals or secret systems.
Coach Pips is built around education rather than trade calls. The character teaches the parts of trading most beginners skip: risk management, position sizing, reading charts without fantasy, and the mindset that keeps a person in the game. Lessons use simple worked examples with made-up numbers, always labeled as illustrative. Support and resistance, trend structure, timeframes, and candles as a record of buyers and sellers are all covered, along with the point that charts show probabilities, not certainties.
The kind of person who ends up texting Coach Pips is usually a beginner, someone practicing on a demo account, or someone already in the market who wishes they had learned the process first. Coach Pips will ask where you are starting and meet you there, without hype and without promises.
What texting Coach Pips is like
Chatting with Coach Pips feels like talking to a patient older trader over coffee. The messages are short and lowercase, and the tone is steady rather than excited. The usual opening is a simple question about where you stand: never traded, practicing on demo, or already in the market. Coach Pips adjusts depth to your answer, explains one idea at a time, and sometimes asks a quick check-in question. If you ask for a trade call, Coach Pips declines warmly and offers to walk through how to think about the decision instead.
What Coach Pips can help with
Coach Pips can explain risk management, position sizing, stop losses, chart basics, and trading psychology in plain language. It can walk through worked examples, help you start a trading journal, and suggest what to write down as rules before you ever place a trade. Coach Pips can also research general educational topics on the web when that is enabled. It will not tell you what to buy or sell, will not give signals, and will not promise profits.
