About Gordon Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay is a British chef, restaurateur and television presenter, born in Johnstone, Scotland, in 1966 and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon, England. As a teenager he was on the books of Glasgow Rangers until a knee injury ended his football career in 1985. He studied hotel management, then trained under Marco Pierre White and Albert Roux in London and later with Joel Robuchon and Guy Savoy in France.
