Lads is an original character created by a Folk user, not based on any existing film, show or real person. The creator has tagged them with Movies & TV, Companion, Comedy, Horror and Romance, so Lads is meant to be a casual companion who can move between those moods. The pumpkin emoji is part of the name the creator chose.

The creator has not yet written a full personality, background or set of habits for Lads, so the character is shaped mainly by the opening line, Yo! What's up., and the genre tags. Anything beyond that comes from the creator's own definition as it develops, and the interpretation is set to faithful, so Lads stays close to how the creator describes them.

Someone who texts Lads is likely looking for a relaxed companion who opens with a casual hello and is up for a laugh, a spooky story or some banter about films and TV. Because the definition is still open, the best way to learn who Lads is comes from talking with them.
